Online Purchase – Terms and Conditions

Please read these conditions carefully before completing any reservation. By submitting a booking, you agree to be bound by the following terms.

1. Bookings and Payments

1.1 Online Booking – All online reservations require full payment (100 %) at the moment of booking. SoulGarve reserves the right to cancel any booking whose payment is not completed within 1 hour of submission.

1.2 Payment Methods – Payments are accepted by credit card (and other available options) exclusively through the Stripe platform.

1.3 Payment Failure – If payment is not received within the time-limit (1 hour), SoulGarve may cancel the booking automatically, without prior notice.

2. Cancellations and Refunds

2.1 Cancellation by SoulGarve – If SoulGarve cancels an activity (e.g. due to weather or operational reasons) a new date will be offered. If you do not wish to reschedule, you may request a refund by emailing support@soulgarve.com and supplying your bank details within 24 h of the cancellation notice. Refunds are processed within 3 business days after correct details are provided.

2.2 Cancellation by Client – more than 24 h – You may cancel your booking up to 24 hours before the scheduled tour by emailing support@soulgarve.com and providing your bank details. Refunds are issued within 3 business days.

2.3 Cancellation by Client – less than 24 h – Bookings cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice are non-refundable.

2.4 Right of Withdrawal – Under Portuguese law (Decree-Law 24/2014) consumers may withdraw from the contract within 14 days after booking, provided the service has not yet been delivered. Exercise this right by emailing support@soulgarve.com.

3. General Conditions

3.1 Insurance – All tours include the mandatory insurance required by Portuguese law, including civil-liability cover.

3.2 Personal Belongings – SoulGarve is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal items during tours. Guests must keep their belongings under supervision.

3.3 Prices – Prices published on SoulGarve’s official website and partner platforms may change without prior notice. Such changes do not affect reservations that have already been confirmed and paid.

4. Weather Conditions and Route Changes

4.1 Safety-Related Changes – SoulGarve may alter routes or reschedule tours in the event of adverse weather conditions. Wherever possible, clients will be notified in advance and may choose to reschedule or receive a full refund.

4.2 Itinerary Adjustments – SoulGarve reserves the right to modify itineraries, schedules or included activities when necessary to ensure quality and safety. Clients will be informed whenever feasible.

5. Personal Data Protection

5.1 GDPR Compliance – SoulGarve fully complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Personal data collected is used solely for:

  • Managing your reservation
  • Communicating with you regarding the service
  • Sending newsletters, but only if you have given explicit consent (checkbox at checkout)

Newsletter subscription is never automatic; you may opt-in freely at checkout.

5.2 Exercising Your Rights – You may request access, correction, portability or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting support@soulgarve.com.

5.3 Unsubscribing – You can unsubscribe from newsletters at any time by clicking the link in the footer of our e-mails.

6. Image Capture and Use

6.1 Consent – Photos and videos may be taken during tours for promotional purposes by SoulGarve and authorised partners (e.g. social media or tourism platforms). Participation implies consent unless you state otherwise.

6.2 Opt-Out – If you prefer not to be photographed or filmed, please inform the SoulGarve team before the tour begins; we will respect your preference.

6.3 Image Protection – Captured images will not be shared with unauthorised third parties or used outside SoulGarve’s official channels without your explicit consent.

7. Updates to These Terms

SoulGarve reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions. Any changes will be communicated through our official channels, including the website and partner platforms.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Portuguese law. Any disputes arising from their interpretation or execution are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Albufeira, Portugal.

By completing a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions. Please review them carefully before finalising your purchase.
